Por Mercurio is a long distance collaboration between three old friends from Argentina: pianist and composer Agustina Taborda, based in Galway, Ireland; bass player and multi-instrumentalist Valentin Prieto, now in Barcelona, Spain; and DJ and music producer Ana Helder, living in Cologne, Germany.

Their recordings came to life by exchanges through the World Wide Web and converged in a brand new cosmic solar system of tracks that features highly stringed harmonies and melodies composed on synthetized orchestral structures, inspired by famed Latin-American artists like Bebu Silvetti or Daniel Grau. A mesmerizing mixture of experimental electronic sound, Latin rhythms, dub and tango nuances full of special effects.

Por Mercurio es una colaboración a larga distancia entre tres amigos de Argentina: la pianista y compositora Agustina Taborda, con base en Galway, Irlanda; el bajista y multi-instrumentista Valentín Prieto, ahora en Barcelona, España; y la DJ y productora Ana Helder, desde Colonia, Alemania. Sus grabaciones nacieron de intercambios en la World Wide Web y resultaron en un nuevo cosmos de piezas musicales que incluyen altas armonías de cuerdas y melodías compuestas sobre estructuras orquestales sintetizadas, inspiradas por famosos artistas latinoamericanos como Bebu Silvetti y Daniel Grau. Una mezcla hipnótica de sonidos electrónicos experimentales, ritmos latinos, dub y matices de tango, además de una gran dosis de efectos especiales.
